Concord, a city in North Carolina, is governed according to the principles of council-manager type of government. The city elects a city council and a mayor every two years which has both no term limits. In this type of government, the elected city council is given the power to approve ordinances, create resolutions and establish the allotted budget for the entire city. Man arrested in Concord triple shooting at party

CONCORD, N.C. — A man was arrested Wednesday for his involvement in a triple shooting that happened in August, according to Concord Police. Investigators said a fight broke out during a party, and Tremaine Arnez Jackson opened fire. Three people were shot, including Willie Peck, who died from his injuries. The other two people survived. Fisher Farm is a 200-acre park located at 21215 Shearer Road in Concord, North Carolina. The park is ideal for walking and running activities. Bikers can also enjoy the park's 4 miles of bike trails that features beginner and advance challenges. Fisher Farm is consists of natural areas that are inhabited by a wide variety of insects, wildlife and plants. The park's Abersham paved path will undergo repairs and widening in an effort to meet the standards mandated by the county in terms of full length. On the other hand, its greenway project was already completed in March 2018.
